OK, I got sucked into the infinite book nook again LOL Also I seemed to have a thing for libraries. There are 4 different ones in this series and I am after another one. To be honest I might get all 4.
A mini miniature series of 4. One I have made quite some time ago. I decided to do the rest. What I didn't do with the first one is to create a deeper grove for the hinges. That's why the first one didn't close properly. This is the Coffee and Bakery scene.
I am usually not a big fan of those book nook puzzles you just click and hammer together without the need of actually doing some crafting. Gluing books doesn't count. But this was one I really would have liked to make the Nerdforge version but I don't have a workshop let alone a place where I can just leave everything there. So it had to be the " copy ". I did enjoy making this one as it was a bit more elaborate than the ones I have done before of the same kind. It took me a couple of days longer mainly because I upgraded the books. Anyone who makes this remember it switches on with voice command. Saves you from having a fit why it doesn't work. It's in the manual!
When you watch a video on YouTube by Nerdforge and then go and buy the same book nook that was based on her idea but enough different to not be a copy and in the end even she couldn't complain much. Lots of books to make 😵 And then you think brown ends look boring and you grab the golden acrylic pen to change that 😁 And then you think hang on books were not matt they were more glossy because of the leather and you grab your decoupage glue/varnish and paint the lot. 😌 And finally you can fill all the book shelves 😁 And have lots of books left over. 😂 This is the electronic part of the book nook.
