Artdot Diamond Art Vacuum Pen

Image
I decided to get the Artdot Diamond Vacuum Pen and boy I don't regret it. I never finished a 30x30 painting so quickly. It works just as well with square drills but you might not be as fast. Disclaimer about the video. I struggled a bit because I was holding the phone in my left hand trying to be still while placing drills on the painting. So one eye was on the phone the other on what I was doing so it turned out a bit weird. But you get the drift. The noise is not bothering me and the vibration is hardly noticeable. I can only recommend it.

Cats Protection Iris Folding Cards

Image
This craft kit was amazing. It included everything to make 3 cards and I have coloured paper left over to make another 10 or 12. Absolutely amazing. The instructions were perfect. I couldn't have asked for more. I have now ordered more cards to use up the rest of the paper.

Cats Protection Resin Cat Coaster

Image
OK, now I tried my best with this one. It's the first time I have made something using UV resin. There are a few things I have to say about this. Personally, I think this was never worth the £10. The plywood coaster was measly 2mm thick A toothpick  spatula 4 stickers as feet We received a tiny 10ml bottle of UV resin A dinky little bag full of dried flowers scrap A UV flashlight with 9 UV LEDs that went through 2x 3 AAA batteries just to do this coaster And some UV taped stuck on some clear acrylic foil that was almost impossible to get off of it and ended up being bent and of course didn't really stick on the coaster. It was practically impossible to get a straight back. So I had to add more resin to the back to even in out. I tried my best. But really It could have turned out so much better if only the coaster was maybe 5mm thick.

Mosaic Coaster from Temu

Image
Sometimes I buy something that looks great, is cheap and with my fingers crossed it will not be rubbish. I was not disappointed with this coaster. The base is wood and really nicely made. There were plenty of glass shards in lovely colours Glue was included The grouting material was more than enough to grout 2  It came with a mixing bowl A little spatula to spread the grout A little sponge to clean up the shards. And all for less than a fiver. I got more compared to the £20 I pain for the light catcher.

Cats Protection Craft Kit Sun Catcher Mosaic

Image
I buy each year the Cats Protection Craft Kit. They are always £20 and £10 goes to help cats. The year before it was a wool felting kit where you could felt a cat. 2 years ago it was a Mosaic in the shape of a cat as a light catcher for the window. I actually glued the glass pieces last year but didn't do the grouting. I finally did it the other week. I think it turned out really great. 💖

Forest Wonderland Mini Minature

I really enjoyed this one. And it turned out really cute.

Chinese Carved Fragrance Pots

Image
I spotted these pots on Aliexpress and thought they would work for the right sized Chinese Miniature. They are used with fragrance beads on a necklace or where ever you want to place them. Here's a video that shows hoe these fragrance beads are made.

Whispering Pages, Book Nook

Image
OK, I got sucked into the infinite book nook again LOL Also I seemed to have a thing for libraries. There are 4 different ones in this series and I am after another one. To be honest I might get all 4.

Molly Garden Mini Miniature

Image
This is Molly Garden or Molly Flower Shop the third of the series.  It's a really cute one.

Coffee & Bakery Mini Miniature

Image
A mini miniature series of 4. One I have made quite some time ago. I decided to do the rest. What I didn't do with the first one is to create a deeper grove for the hinges. That's why the first one didn't close properly. This is the Coffee and Bakery scene.

"Lego" Wall-e

Look who I found on Aliexpress.

Sweets & Treats Xmas Scene

Image
So, this one felt a bit anticlimactic. What a wonky thing of a miniature scene. It annoyed me right from the start but I still finished it.
