Chinese Book Nook WIP

Image
This is the very last of the Chinese themed book nooks. I haven't translated the title yet but it looks like a street food scene with restaurants. One half is finished, the second half way. Atm I am making tiny food skewers. Don't ask me how it's going. 😬

More Beaded Bracelet Colours

I bought even more colours after these. So atm I almost have a rainbow. I just love making this while watching TV,

Restaurant Book Nook

This one has a fireplace, which would have been all dark and in the back and that's when I remembered my new micro LEDs and wow, it worked. Looks so much better than it would have been without. This one had a few "You drive me crazy moments" when stuff wouldn't stick with one glue and then I had to try a different one. Whoever claimed this fabric glue will glue every fabric was lying. It hardly glues ANY fabric. 😡 Anyway, some swearing later (a lot) it's finished.

New Bendy Holders

Here's the one I was talking about. So much better because nothing wobbles. And the pins are nicely stored away. This is the old one, they are longer but you have to keep the original box.

Wedding Dress Shop - Video

I forgot to mention this one is also a music box. Here's the video

Wedding Dress Shop - Finished

It's a really cute one but also tricky because the dress is really puffy and then you have to add lots of other bits after the dress it glued in. A bit of a pain. But it looks GLAM!

Wedding Dress Shop WIP

Here a few stages and issues, that needed a new purchase. This was another release similar to the early book nooks that included a mirror. This one had a frame and required pearls draped around it. Now some may have placed one bead at a time. Not me, I stringed as many up as were required and glued them on after. That way they were all nicely the same way and it turned out neat. Then it was the turn of the wedding dress. The instructions said glue. Nope I used a thread and ruffled the lace and voila! And then the issue with the chandelier.  I bought this set of clamps with a stand, which model maker use to paint or spray paint their model pieces. It was better than using 10 clumsy clamps so it was dangling but would have been a problem when I had to attach all the dangly bits. I had to use 3 upright and 1 clamped vertical but it was very wobbly. I ordered a different one from Temu. You can see it in my next WIP.
